How we price
Where the rates come from.
- Three local quotations, the middle one
- Every category is priced from three vendor quotations in that market, and the median is taken — never the cheapest.
- Rates we have actually seen
- A rate goes on the card only when we have bought or built at it. Where we hold a real local quotation for a district, that exact rate is used instead.
- Every rate card is dated
- Rate cards are versioned. An estimate downloaded months ago still opens at the rates it was priced on.
- We do this work ourselves
- These are not rates read off a list. They are the rates we buy and build at, on our own sites.
